Hoth Evacuation by Darren Tan
On May 21, 1980, The Empire Strikes Back began its 70mm run in 41 theaters in 16 cities. To celebrate it's anniversary, we are thrilled to release "Hoth Evacuation" by Darren Tan in our store. Here is what Darren had to say on his inspiration for the piece:
"This scene imagines what it was like for the Rebel pilots escorting the evacuating transports as the battle to defend Echo Base was raging below."
